Senior Pastor

Carlos serves as the Senior Pastor of Ahava Church with the love and support of his wife, Amina. Originally from San Diego, California, Carlos studied at Portland Bible College and has spent years ministering to Gen Z through worship, discipleship, and young adult ministry.

Carlos and Amina met in Portland in 2021 while he was leading worship at a church in downtown Portland. Amina is originally from Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine, and together they now call the Portland area home.

Carlos has a deep passion for worship, the Word of God, and teaching Scripture faithfully and clearly in its full counsel. His heart is to help people become deeply rooted in Jesus and equipped to live out their faith.
